I have managed to get a schedule started at work, which is helping all of my students. Unfortunately, the school feels they can pull my Aide when they need coverage, so I don't think it's fully hit them that what I do is intensive and requires most of the day. Ugh.
On the good days, my two boys are great. Here they are with their gifts from getting through their flu shots at school:
Harold is still hitting and spitting. I really wish his family would deal with his behavior before he gets to Middle School. God help them when he goes up for expulsion because of his behavior. However, they feel that he doesn't need correcting, and he is the baby, so what are they to do? Seriously - that was something they told me.
On my way to work each day, I am completely amazed by the beauty of where I live. I am still overwhelmed with the fact that there is no traffic here. Seriously?! It's 13 miles to work and it takes me 10 minutes if I drive the speed limit. Here is a few examples of Montana mornings:
Ken and I are making friends. We have had one dinner party and an impromptu get-together: both with a co-worker and their family. It was nice to have friends over. Ken and I realize now how much we miss hosting people over. Melissa and her husband, Chase, have a young son and daughter. Blaine loved spending time with the girls and enjoyed having all of their attention.
I received a surprise in the mail this week - a Pandora bracelet from my Stitchy Sisters to commemorate the new house. Stephanie and Lori kept saying that they were going to get me started on collecting the charms. I kept saying I wouldn't, but they didn't think I should listen to myself.
