Yes, you are seeing that correctly!! Jordan gashed her face, chipped a tooth AND broke her arm today. The top one is the one I was sent by Ken as he took her to the doctor's office to have her looked at. Geez!!! I was at work and spent the entire day freaking out about my kid. I know that Ken had it handled, but the whole Mom-thing was tearing at me. Why did I have to have a job? Why couldn't I justify taking the day off and helping her (especially since Ken had her - he's retired, why wouldn't he be fine?)?
By the time I got home, Jordan was smiling and fine. Her face had been treated at the doctor's office, and she was handed a brace for her arm, her tooth was fixed by the dentist's office, and she was recovering. Still, Mama was a mess, so I did all that was left to do - called an old friend who is an orthopedist to get his take on the brace. Yeah, we agreed - get her a cast.
So, here is the story on this "look" for the George:
She was playing basketball with the boys during recess. She was running, and went to get a pass, and tripped over someone's shoes. Depending on who she is talking to, sometimes the boy did it on purpose, and other times it was an accident. You have to love how Jordan works. LOL
