The serious beauty of Montana has not gotten old for me yet. This week, we saw low temperatures, but while the weather was still fluctuating, we had a morning of fog. The mama horse and her baby spend each morning out along the road grazing, and the baby is shy.
We also learned that Homecoming is a serious business here in Hardin. The local stores all sell orange and black attire as well snacks and accessories. We went to the Sew Queen Designs on Center Street to start. Karla has a great shoppe, and the girls picked out shirts, necklaces, hair bows, etc. to wear on the Friday of Homecoming. At Moejoe's coffee shop, Deanna had her crew of helpers getting everything together. Deanna makes this stuff called Puppy Chow which is apparently quite a hit locally. (I didn't care for it since it was made of peanut butter.)
Ken and I bought little "Dawg" packages to have delivered to Taylor and Mandy at school. We had been told that if they didn't get things, then everyone would know they were ignored.
Ken spent the week working on his reloading room for the past two weeks. This is a picture of his progress, and once it's done, we can start cleaning out the basement. Most of the boxes lying around everywhere are his, so I'm looking forward to having things organized. Ken has done an amazing job of building his custom reloading room.
