We celebrated Thanksgiving here at our home this year. Each year, Cyn Racataian and I switch off who is hosting. It works out really well, and it makes things easy on us every other year.
This year, we had even more people celebrating with us, so we managed to take it to a pot-luck style as well. Everyone brought something, so no one was put out a chunk of money, and it seemed easier on everyone. We had a great time!! Michael, Kim, all of the boys, Cyn and her family and Marissa made it a huge house-ful and a ton of fun.
Michael made the turkey and stuffing, Kim brought appetizers, Cyn brought the sides including her now-famous corn casserole, and Ken made the apple pies. We didn't have enough supplies for a cherry pie, and I failed to make proper rolls, but we did supply all of the alcohol, so that had to count for something.
I couldn't believe that I was able to get some pictures of the entire family again! They aren't stellar enough to go above the fireplace, but we'll have a nice card for Christmas.
Of course, Ken and Justin had to end the day with being juvenile. Justin loves trying to get "the old man," and for a while it worked this time.
