Katherine's Wedding

Despite the heat, humidity and Mosquitos, we made to the Holland Willows for the wedding. I was grateful to find a place that could do my hair last minute!  I spent a ton of time going through the Internet looking for salons, and one in Clarence was able to fit me in.  I went with something a little different for me, but it looked really cute.  I was just so glad to have my hair off my neck!

Before we left, I made sure to get a "family photo" in the Akron Pink Room.
Kayla getting ready for the wedding!!

Dad drove us out to the wedding since we had no idea where the hell we were going.  We could have used our GPS, but it was great to not have to worry about who could drink and who was driving.  The trip was beautiful.  The girls and I still can't get over how "green" it is here, and all of the scenery. There was nothing like seeing the rolling hills with farms, and the sun setting.  It was very picturesque.

Since I had been requested to bring the large Nikon, I got to work taking the set-up photos.

I took advantage of "Family Time" to get the photos

Had to get the full image of Dad in a tux. We'll never see this again

 Shawn's outfit ROCKED!

We finally met Kathy.  Yay!!  She's wonderful and amazing!

The wedding was "backwards" from what we're used to.  Katherine and RJ were married on a Friday night, and they started with appetizers, then the dinner, and the ceremony and reception followed.

She chose The Imperial March as her wedding march.  AWESOME!

No, there is not one "normal" picture of Dad -ever.  He takes horrible pictures, and I give up.

 The newly married couple!
 Ken and his baby sister
Ken said he doesn't remember Dad being this small.
And then the party got started!!

We even got Dad a little liquored up which lead to.....
Dad boogie-ing on the dance floor!!

It was a beautiful ceremony - simple and sweet.  The party was fun, and it was great to meet Katherine and RJ's friends and family. We were all tired when we left, and very thankful that Dad was driving.
