We stopped by to see Dad one last time before heading to the airport. I actually got close to one of the horses in order to satisfy my promise to Jordan to get a picture of "her horses."
Ken and I arrived Thursday night, drove home, said hello and good night to the girls, unpacked and fell upon our OWN bed. Oh! That felt so good!!
It was rather sucky to spend Valentine's Day in an airport and on a plane, but we made the best of it. We each had purchased a card and an iTunes gift card for each other. As usual, Ken found the perfect card for me, and I loved the sentiment. He did have to add his own personal message though about how he never wants to return to Buffalo in the winter. Haha.
Work was crazy yesterday, and I still haven't made a dent in what needs to be done. Ugh! I got through my emails, attended an IEP meeting and then hit a wall. I'm sure it didn't help that my body still thinks it's on East Coast time.
We had movie night with the girls and then I crashed. I knew Jordan had fallen asleep on the couch, but I didn't know Ken left her there until I saw feet poking out from the laundry basket. Hahaha!
