Some of the week's happenings

We are excited to report that Mandy's stitches have been removed and her back looks good.  She had a reaction to the adhesive, but I expected it as she is the most like me in the allergic section.  She is happy to have the pokey-stitches out of her back.

Every once in a while, I will hear from former students.  I received this as a text message that stated that the student saw this and immediately thought about my class.  Hahahaha!  Glad I could make such an impression to be remembered 3 years later!

The girls wanted to watch a movie in their room, and when I checked on them, this is how I found them.  Totally cute!!!

I posted this to Facebook as well.  This was supper with Ken.  I saw an email reminding us that life and short and use the china often - don't wait for a "special occasion."  I do this often and it's always fun!

Jordan joined us for our china and crystal supper.  She was making very odd faces while we were trying to eat.

Also posted to FB was a copy of the package tags that were found for Jordan this year!!

I have been experimenting with my baking this year.  Today, it was Cranberry Orange Scones and they turned out well.  What an amazing breakfast.  Ken, who maintains that he doesn't care for cranberries, ate two.
