Ken and I went to the hockey game on Saturday. This was our 4th game of the season, and we did not hold high hopes for a win - the Reign had not won a game yet that we had attended. The drive down was a nightmare!! I didn't think we would have to worry about the Thanksgiving/Vegas traffic on a Saturday, but the I-15 from Main Street in Hesperia all the way down through the Cajon Pass was a parking lot! I was the lucky one who was driving, and Ken was very happy about that.
Imagine our surprise when the Reign won the game. They had to go into a shoot out, but it was a pretty good game.
To celebrate, Ken and I went to Hooters and got our free wings, and then had a great time just visiting and spending time together. I bought him some stocking stuffers that he can use in his garage, and of course, I got a picture of him with our waitress which was promptly posted on Facebook for our friends who could not join us.
The drive home was not as bad, but it was windy and rainy. The temperature dropped down to the teens over night and the snow level was expected to drop to 3000 feet, so I was not surprised to see the gravel and salt already on the ground through the Cajon Pass.
