Breakfast and Lunch were in the main room. I could only get the majority of the room in my photo, but you can get an idea of how many people actually work at my school. In the time that I have worked here, I have never seen "everyone" so it was rather cool to view.
Sadly, after eating, we were placed in small, windowless rooms for an hour at a time. We were forced to sign in and stay there for the entire time. I totally understand how the Professional Development budget works, but it was still a pain. Everyone was divided into different groups, and that group had a schedule. We had to attend each and every presentation whether it applied to our role or not. Yeah, very little applied to what it is I do, but since no one really knows what it is that my Team and I actually do, I guess that's why we were stuck.
The pools were amazing though!! I held our one and only Transition Team meeting at the salt-water pool. HeeHee!! Since there is never any actual supervisory care, I took charge and we had fun. I promise, we did discuss work and actually got a lot accomplished while sitting poolside.
