Today was incredibly busy, and I have no doubt it will stay this way. I took Mandy and Jordan to the orthodontist. Mandy got her braces tweaked and new bands put on. Jordan is doing very well. Who would have thought she would be the most "normal" of the three girls in any aspect.
I made sure I was packed up and ready to go, but everything to deal with work and this trip to Palm Desert was nothing but a disorganized clusterfuck. There were never clear directions or instructions, and even the information we received wasn't complete. I had been instructed to take the bus so the school wouldn't have to pay my mileage, which was fine, but then the bus was very, very late. The good part was that there were only 6 of us on this bus rather than the 50+ that were expected. Being able to stretch out was really nice.
When I finally arrived at the Marriot Resort in Palm Desert, I was tired, and it was very hot. There was a huge entourage of people to welcome and direct us. Having such formality was really weird, and I felt bad for those in Leadership roles because they were worked to death.
The view from my balcony was amazing!!! This resort was huge and gorgeous, but I still couldn't believe that we would be so hot for so long.
