Mother's Day Eve

There are simply no words to describe the ending of my day. Ken and the girls spent the first part of the day getting a card for me and some flowers (I already know my gift will be late), and then the girls spent the day in the pool now that the weather is seriously warm. 

I spent the day reading a book (almost) uninterrupted. As as the evening drew late, Jordan came out of the room and started hanging notes around the living room.  When I got up to make tea, I actually read the notes and started laughing!!

Just when I was going through a pity-party the last few days and reflecting on what kind of a mother I really am, these are the things that my youngest wanted me to know:

Wow! I have no idea where she gets this stuff from, but it sure lifted my heart tonight. So, the pity-party is now officially over, and I will happily go to bed and be sure to Rock On tomorrow!
