The Ballet

Ken and I took the girls back to The Bridges Auditorium in Claremont to see Cinderella by the Inland Pacific Ballet.  Mandy wanted to see this ballet after hearing about it when we were there to see The Nutcracker, so I purchased the tickets for her since this has always been her favorite princess.

I worked really hard this week (along with a lot of help from the girls) in order to make necklaces to match their bracelets for them to use when they dressed up today. They seemed to like the ensemble, and Jordan was the first one ready to go.

The girls were excited to go, but they did not like waiting for the performance to begin.  There were no complaints about the first act, but the girls found a LOT to complain about during the 2nd act - mainly, that the Prince's tights were way to "tight" and white was definitely not the best color...especially since we were sitting in the first row.

After the ballet, Jordan ran around to get as many pictures with the cast as possible.  The line for a picture with Cinderella was too long for them, but they seemed to enjoy the pictures they got. Mandy, however, decided that she did not want any photos taken of her - I just hope she doesn't regret the non-photo-op moments again.

We left and went to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. Sadly, our fun day out was interrupted, literally, by thieves. During our meal, I was notified that my PayPal account had been hacked, and while waiting on hold for PayPal, I watched $900 withdraw from our bank accounts. Ken got on his phone to call the bank while I was holding for PayPal for almost an hour.

FINALLY! Things got dealt with.  The money was provisionally given back to us, and we drove home.  The girls were worried and upset because of what happened, but we reassured them and explained that people will do this to others, and you just have to take the time to correct the problem and do it well.

Even after we returned home, I was stuck spending time dealing with the fraud. It took another 4 hours for me to deal with it, and I was pissed off the entire time. Apparently, there are things called BitCoins, and there were many purchased with my money. I sincerely hope that the Dirtbags who did this do not get a penny of whatever the hell a BitCoin is. So, all of my passwords have been changed, my email account was set right after learning it was hacked and some asshole was forwarding my emails to them, and I filed my police report. Again, these are seriously Dirtbags who need to be kicked in the head and ass by Karma.
