Turtle Baby Sampler WIP

As I have mentioned numerous times, stitching on linen is a new experience, and I found that it is kicking my ass.  I walked away from Jordan Fairy for a few days so I wouldn't get so frustrated that I couldn't finish her, but then I realized that I really wanted to stitch.  I just couldn't face Jordan Fairy.

So, I totally went against my nature, and I started a new project. I usually like to finish the one I start, but I promised to make a baby sampler for my friend's new grandson.  The theme for Baby Elijah was turtles, so she picked out a pattern from Stoney Creek, and I took the turtle part and created a sampler from it.

I happily started stitching again, and I made the decision to use 14 ct. Aida cloth in white.  Stitching went so quickly in just an hour!

Oh! Ode to me!!  My stitches are neat, the rows are clear, and I obviously still have my ability to stitch.  Yay!  Hopefully, I can have this completed quickly, and then discover I can finish Jordan Fairy.
