Taylor has worked so very hard to maintain her grades and to work to get to grade level. Mandy also has worked to organize herself to get her work completed, and both of them have finally discovered a love of reading!
Taylor getting her award from Kristy Croft. (Taylor and Mandy did a switch on their teachers. Each of them had the other teacher last year. Haha!)
So proud of her!! The Red Honor roll is for students who have grades that total 3.0 - 3.4 GPA. I sure hope that they strives to maintain this through high school graduation!
Ken has taken to covering up the girls' faces when we take a picture. Taylor thought it was hysterical!
Yes! I finally made sure that I got in some of the pictures rather than just taking them all of the time. I still cannot get over how much of my clone Taylor really is.
Mandy had her awards assembly right after Taylor's - thankfully because Ken and I really didn't want to sit through a different classes to wait. Whew! Mandy received the Gold Honor Roll for a cumulative GPA of 3.5 - 4.0. What an accomplishment!! (Of course, with Mandy's lazy style, imagine how well she could do if she tried?!)
And Mandy is proud and happy enough to let me take a picture of her! Whoo-hoo!
However, Mandy does NOT like the Daddy Hand in her face. Ok, I think she secretly loves it but wants to play "cool" in front of her friends.
