I have worked my butt off this week - it was the annual 10th grade administration of the California High School Exit Exam, and I was again put in charge of testing. There were only 34 students in our group for the area, and only 28 showed up, but the amount of hours it takes to get everything ready and in place was a pain in the ass. Not to mention, while testing, there were 5 emails that came through with changes. Already this week, I have put in 30 hours and I still have tomorrow and Friday which will see me leaving tomorrow morning early to drive to Simi Valley to help with State audit paperwork.
Tonight, however, was our Girls' Night. I have yet to pack for the morning since I will be stuck in Simi Valley until Saturday morning, but the girls love being able to have finger foods and a movie while Ken is at the Gun Club for the Membership and Board Meeting. I couldn't let them down!
So, I got the food heated up, and the girls picked a shorter movie than usual - The Cat in the Hat with Mike Myers. Then, of course, I had to set up the tripod to take a picture. I made the girls pretend that we were watching the movie already. I also joked around with Taylor about taking her food!
