It was only one day....

OK, I know that I was only out of my office for one day, but what a mess I returned to.  My counter-part, Jennifer, and I have been dealing with our co-workers waiting until the last minute or even after the fact to inform us that we have to write reports.  I knew when I had to take Monday off for Jury Duty that I had a stack of work to get done, but the amount of work that accumulated in one day made it look so much worse.

The file folders is what I knew had to be done by Tuesday.  The papers on TOP of the files was what was added over the weekend-mostly because of the last minute notification.  Holy Crap!!  There is not enough hours in my work day to get this done!  Add into this fun of another co-worker whose panties got in a bunch, and I lost 3 hours dealing with her temper tantrum and attempts to have my written up so she would feel better.  Luckily, I save every piece of paper and email and I had the information to back myself up.  No write up, but now I'm further behind in my work.  Ugh!!!
