Catching Up

Life has been far too busy!  Too add more to my ever busy plate, I am studying for the LSAT.  I take the test on December 3rd, so I am trying to learn quite a lot of new skill sets before then.  I am completely outside my comfort zone with this test and way of thinking which is causing me some serious doubts about my abilities, but apparently, everyone who knows me thinks this will be a great change for me and a perfect fit.  I'm just hoping I survive the test!


We have managed to still get a lot of fun into our lives.  I have yet to put up all of our New York and Canada trip, but I figured I would work backwards.  


The girls had their Fall Break last week.  I was stuck working, but it was nice to get away.  I had to be in San Diego to help with an audit, so Ken and I thought it would be great to go back to Pendleton.  We stayed in a luxury villa, and it was worth every penny!  I did not go crazy with taking pictures like I normally do, but I managed to get a few in between all of the time I spent at the Lodge to do work.

Last month was Taylor's birthday.  I have yet to pull all of the pictures off my camera most because we're heading back to Disneyland for the pictures that we weren't able to get.  I managed to get a few cute pictures, but then the battery ran dead on my camera.  That is so frustrating!

Time to celebrate her birthday!

Sean and his girlfriend, Danielle, joined us at Disneyland for the day.  For the record, Ken and I really like Danielle, and it's great to see Sean with someone who treats him so well.  


Taylor LOVED that her brother chose to spend the day with her.  Sean and Danielle actually hung out with us until we had to leave early.  I have a lot of other pictures, but I have to get the disc from Disneyland since their photographers took the pictures. 


September also was the new month for the Southern California Brain Tumor Walk.  Sean and his fraternity sponsored a team again, so we enjoyed the time together with Sean and his friends.

I surprised myself by making it through the entire 5 K walk.  I had to take off my sneakers at one point.  I am just too used to wearing flip-flops and couldn't handle the regular shoes.  


As I can get through things, I will get things updated - even if it's in reverse order.
