Baseball

Ken and I wanted to give the girls a little treat and something to break up the monotony of being home before we left for New York. What could be better during the summer than a baseball game at the High Desert Mavericks?  OK, well, let it suffice to say that baseball is not a Koehler Family favorite sport.  Compared to hockey, everyone found it boring, but the girls made it as fun as they could.

There was the food, and then the unending rain.  It didn't rain enough to call the game, but it was enough for us not to be able to thoroughly enjoy ourselves.  By the time we left, our rears were soaked.

Mandy was on a mission to get more raindrops

Jordan managed to get a signed baseball from Wooley - the Mavericks mascot.  Taylor and Mandy spent the rest of the day very shy and waited until the last minute to ask for a baseball, so they didn't get one.

The Mavericks lost the game, and we were completely wet, but the girls chattered on the way home about how great it was to get out and go to a game.  They did make the request to attend a baseball game when there are fireworks next time.
