Family Photo Session

I spent a lot of time trying to get everything set up for the Family Pictures.  We hadn't had photos taken of all 8 of us since Ken and I were married.  There was a lot to consider;  most importantly, would the boys want to be part of it?  I couldn't worry about them, so I started talking to photographers and looking at different venues.  With my not working a full time job, money was a factor, but it was really important to me to have a new family portrait.  The wedding photo was enlarged, framed and over our fireplace, and it was time for a new picture.

Wedding - December 2008

I called a friend of mine with whom I used to work, Keith Diamond.  I asked him if he was interested in taking our pictures, and he was more than happy to do so.  He lives in a great neighborhood, and the waterfall they have there was a great location.  The boys all decided that they wanted to be part of it, so we kept things casual and off we went.

The wind became a factor, but we did get some great shots of Ken with the kids.  We went back to their house in order to have some more pictures taken in their home studio and then we enjoyed a BBQ with Keith and his wife, Cindy.  If anyone is in our neck of California and wants Keith's phone number to take your pictures, just let me know!

Of all the pictures that were taken, Cindy got a great candid shot of the girls outside.  Here's both the color and the black and white version (the B/W is my fav!)
