Friday the 13th

Ken and I met on Friday, July 13, 2007, and we actually didn't realize that we had met on Friday the 13th until the following day.  Because of how our relationship and our love grew from our first meeting, we decided that Friday the 13th, and the number 13 is actually a great thing for us.  So, we got married on December 13th, and in keeping with our ritual, we always make sure that we can go out together on Friday the 13th.  We did that this last Friday, and we had a blast.


We enjoyed Oggi's - a great pizza place.  We had planned on going to a movie, but I was tired and not feeling well from my surgical incision, so Ken was wonderful and took me home.  In the meantime, however, we made the most of our time out.

I love that Ken makes sure that everything is special for me.  I adore that he makes even simple things wonderful - such as going out on Friday the 13th.  While there was nothing spectacular about the date or the outing, we had a great time, and he made it incredible just by taking care of me, and doting on me.  Talk about feeling like a million bucks!
