Party Weekend!

Saturday was Taylor's birthday party, and we recovered all day yesterday.  She had a few friends show up to her party, and Mama was so excited to have the house ready in time.  Thank you for friends who pitch in and help!!

We managed to get everything ready in time for the first friends to show up.  Taylor and her friends had a great time, and the adults made sure to stay outside and away from the screaming and giggling.

Uncle Michael had a LOT of fun with his birthday gift and he always picks out the best cards - this one had a lot to do with pooping.

 She couldn't stop laughing about his card.

Taylor had never had the box in box prank before, so it was hysterical to watch her open each box only to find another one. When she finally got to the last one, she was amazed to find a beautiful bracelet in there for her.  (As you can see, Maddie does NOT leave her side when they are together.)

She had some really nice gifts - especially with the additions from Kim and her girls - nothing like a new outfit!!

 Apparently, Maddie insisted on giving Ta-wowr her favorite giraffe.

We moved into cake time, and you have to love your friends who smash the cake into your face!

She had a great day, and she loved being able to spend time with her friends. It's hard to believe that she's 14 and almost to high school.  Ugh!
