Old Photos Recovered

Ken has been reorganizing. He started with the shed, and then he moved into the attic. He has made a lot of space, and we're cleaning out things that we have been holding on to.  A couple of bins that we found contained pictures....and I mean thousands of pictures!! There was no organization, rhyme or reason to it.  I spent hours pulling out pictures.  Any picture that had Ken alone or with his boys, I pulled it out and put it to the side.  There have been some awesome pictures, and I loved seeing my amazing husband in his younger form.

As I kept going through the pictures, I started making piles for the boys so they can have pictures from their youth.  Then, I came upon these next pictures of Ken from 1999:

When Ken and I were dating, I read through his medical records, and I heard the stories about his brain cancer surgery.  Seeing these pictures, however, made me start crying. To see My Love like this was horrible. I cannot imagine watching him going through this, and I can't believe that he had to do so much with so little support. (The picture of his ex making the "Oh poor baby" face next to him just pissed me off). 

I have hours and hours of scanning ahead of me to get all of the pictures organized and archived. It will be a very fun process, and it will be highly enjoyable to see Ken over the years.
