Friends

Jordan had her friend, Alexis, come over an spend the night. They spent a ton of time in the pool which was awesome because they got worn out from the exercise and heat. After supper, I put on a movie for the girls, but Alexis was more intrigued by my stitching than Jack Sparrow. She asked questions and kept watching me. Before the night's end, Alexis asked me to teach her how to stitch. 

It was hilarious watching them set up the sofa-bed until it was "perfect" for them to sleep on.

Ironically, the bed is so old and uncomfortable, that they ended up dragging all of this bedding back to Jordan's bed in the middle of the night!!

This morning, the girls enjoyed breakfast and more swimming. After lunch, Alexis reminded me that she wanted to learn to stitch, so I ended up with a little "clinic" in the living room:

I thought it was totally cute to see the two friends sharing this adventure.  Sadly, I finally had to take Alexis home so I could get some errands done. By the time I got home, there were two voicemails for me - both from Alexis with stitching questions.
