Another Day Out

Once again, Michael Gallagher wanted to make sure the girls and I were taken care of while Ken was away. I'm sure his plan was to ensure that the girls were worn out, and I wasn't driven insane with their antics.  The girls loved the attention and the spoiling, and Michael loves having been adopted into our family. The girls all lovingly refer to him as Crazy Uncle Mike, and it's a title he relishes.

We started with supper in Upland. The place that Michael took us to wasn't as great as he last experienced, but it was still fun to try something new. Well, except for Jordan who thought everything looked and tasted "funny."  Each of the girls loved the all-you-could-eat dessert buffet however, and they each made a couple of trips.
After eating (and cleaning up the pop that Mandy spilled on her pants), Michael took us to Dave & Buster's in Ontario. The girls had never been, and their eyes bugged out of their heads when they saw ALL of the games available to play. I had tried to describe it as a larger and more fun place than John's Incredible, but they didn't believe me until they got in there.

Mandy got the highest score for the day!
Taylor enjoyed out-shooting the boys on this game

This is the simulated roller coaster that Mandy said is the only one she'll ever go on!
There was nothing more fun than seeing Jordan's face during her enjoyment at the rides and games!! Michael said seeing their smiles was exactly what he needed.

Three and a half hours later along with the candy and toys that the girls agonized over which to spend their coupons for, we left and headed home.
Can you see everyone's exhausted faces?? Michael visited for a little while to make sure that the girls and I were settled, and then he left to get home. He's such a great uncle to these girls and friend to Ken and me. The girls fell asleep almost immediately even despite all of the sugar, and I know I was out fairly quickly after them.
