Almost Friday

I have been working diligently to get the Turtle Baby Sampler done for Valeriee's baby.  Sadly, I had to wait until I received a new copy of the pattern maker software before I could make the requested changes.  One day, I will keep this CD where I can find it.  The work is coming along well, and my WIP is looking good.

This week has been long at work with proctoring the California Standards Test, and I'm glad that I'm done.  My day was made when Ken received his first issue of Handloader magazine at home! He actually jumped up and down with excitement.

Ken was so funny about this.  For over a year, he would drive as far as it took to find his Handloader magazine.  Most often, he would have to go all the way to the Mall to Barnes & Noble to get it. Every time we made the trek, I would ask him why he didn't just subscribe and get it delivered to the house AND he would save some money.  Not only would we save on gas, but he would get a discount for the subscription.  He never had a good answer, but boy is he excited he got it in the mailbox!

Thursday evening ended with a Jordanism.  You have to love the way her mind thinks. During supper, everyone was goofing off and talking about their day.  Ken was teasing and bugging Jordan until her behavior escalated too far.  I cautioned her a couple of times, but she was past the reasoning stage, so I used her First and Last name together.  Ken, however, was being a very bad influence, and kept going even after Jordan had listened and stopped.  So, Jordan decided to chastise Ken in a similar manner, "Oooohhhhhh! Daddy Jason Koehler!"

Once again, everyone erupted with laughter at what she said.  She didn't use his "real" first name as she has been directed not to do that with us, but she got the rest of it correct.  Hahahaha!
