It's the Little Things....

Life is full of the small, little, wonderful moments that make life worth living.  Ken does that for me each day.  From his daily "Good Morning" and kiss to the top of my head to the "extras" that he does.  Ken will spontaneously plan something just like today.

He and I were talking in my office about - whatever it was.  I'm not sure what we were talking about: the Gun Club, kids, things to do this week....whatever it was, we got to a stopping point, and Ken stated that he was going to make a cup of coffee for himself.  I went back to my scrapbooking video to get some new, cool ideas, and I heard the espresso machine kick on.  I actually thought about getting up to ask to join in the coffee making because I was totally in need of coffee by that point, but I was distracted with the video, so I figured I would get my own when I was done.

A few minutes later, I heard Ken whispering to Jordan.  I couldn't tell exactly what he was saying to her, but I could hear his instructions to "hold this carefully" and then "wait here."  Ken came back to my office and asked if I would want him to make me a cup of coffee.  I grinned and said that I would love one, and then he snaps his fingers, and in walks Jordan holding my caramel macchiato lovingly made - without my even having to ask - by Ken.  Jordan came in, handed me my drink, "Here you go Madam" as directed by Ken.  (Jordan was embarrassed and ran back to the living room when she was done.)

There's no picture to attach, there's really not even adequate words to describe this.  It's just one of the many little things that Ken does that makes him "THE Ken."  Ken knew I would want coffee, so he thought and planned ahead, and then gave a little presentation so I would know that I was special.  He is amazing, and his love for me knows no bounds.  I am an incredible lucky woman, and I know it!
