Because we had so much going on Christmas Eve, I totally forgot to get the French Toast Bake ready for the following morning. I knew I wasn't going to want to cook, but then after all of the presents were opened and we were ready for breakfast, I realized I had forgotten. No worries! I improvised and make Cranberry Creme Stuffed French Toast. Everyone seemed to love it, and we had a wonderful breakfast.
Initially, I felt really bad that Ken couldn't enjoy his Christmas gifts on Christmas Day because I wasn't aware that he was going to need some things to go with it, but he was able to go out the next day to get what he needed and then he had a blast. The pressure washer was put to great use! The back patio was cleaned off as was the furniture and BBQ, the front patio was cleaned, the weeds were eradicated in the driveway, and the truck got washed!
Once everything settled down, we watched The Santa Clause and then got ready for bed. This Christmas just went by too quickly, as did 2011. Wow, I simply can't believe that it's over. Now, to get ready to bring in 2012.
And, I can't believe that I didn't post pictures of the girls with Santa! So, here they are! I had taken the girls to see Santa way back in November so I could make their 'Twas the Night Before Christmas book since I didn't have the picture of them with Santa from when they were little.
