Ken takes the girls to the Park

One of the highlights for Ken was being able to take the girls to the Akron Park where he loved to play as a child.  Once again, the girls were amazed by the amount of greenery they saw everywhere.  


Ken loved to share this:  Taylor asked Ken, "Daddy, who waters all of these trees?"  Hahaha - Ken had a difficult time trying to explain that it rains there all the time or there's snow, and the trees are not planted there specifically - they were natural, so, well, "no one."   She just didn't get it.

 This was, literally, Ken's favorite playground toy.  I have a great picture of him riding on it last year and the year before.  The girls thought the "egg" was the best playground toy as well!

I told Ken to show the girls Akron Falls especially before taking them to Canada so they could get the full effect.  Sadly, however, it was so hot that there wasn't really any Falls. The girls still thought it was cool that this was in the Park, and they couldn't WAIT to tell me all about it.


Oh!  Where was I during this, yeah, Sam and I went to get a pedicure and have lunch together in an air conditioned building while they went to the Park.
