Well, the summer could only last so long. I have a million pictures to look through from our trip to New York and Canada, but it will take me some time to get them online. Our flight home was delayed and I was late returning to California which caused me to fall even further behind in my work.
Yes, I had to start back to work already. The girls will return to school next week, so they still have a small reprieve, but I spent today going through a gazillion emails (OK, it wasn't really that much, but it felt like it). Now, I have to sift through and determine what the heck I need to do this year. I am so grateful to have an amazing co-worker who did a TON of work over the summer.
So, sayonara to the Summer Break and back to the grind I go. Thank you to everyone who made our trip to the East Coast so amazing. We miss you already, and I wish we could have stayed longer - it is nice to be back in our own bed and to be dry after the shower, but we miss our great friends and family.
