4th Grade Family Lunch

Last Friday, Ken and I picked up some Jack-in-the-Box and went to the school to see Mandy for lunch.  I was still disappointed to see how few parents showed up for this Family Lunch as opposed to the younger students, but there were still a handful of parents there.  


Mandy was totally excited that we came.  It never ceases to amaze me that we will tell the girls we will see them at the lunch, but until they see us physically there, they don't think we're going to show.

We enjoyed our lunch with Mandy, and she even gave up her recess time to stay with us.  We talked to the principal more about the idea of extending the school to 7th grade next year and then ultimately make it a preK-8th grade school, and then we had to go so the poor custodian could clean up.  Mandy gave us 5 hugs and kisses good bye in order to extend our time there.  

It's always the little things that make their day!
