As far as the Day itself, Ken and I enjoyed our day together while in our regular routine. Our "gift" to each other was the weekend away that we already took, so we just enjoyed being together. Ken made an amazing supper for the girls and me, and I worked very hard to make a cute table centerpiece for the family that I found on Heritage Makers. As usual, I waited to get this done, and it turned out to be way more involved than I thought. Whew!

Taylor was the only one who actually did not have a Valentine exchange in class. Her class is going to do theirs on Wednesday for some reason. Mandy and Jordan were completely wired on sugar from all of the candy, and the girls loved the bracelets that they received from Ken and me in their Valentine Grams. Jordan gave me another Valentine that she made at school, and I loved the spelling. I did check and she was able to spell the words when I asked her.
While I love holidays, I always want to make sure that I am celebrating my family each day of the year. So far, Ken and the girls are saying I'm doing a "good job."
