Mandy turns 10!

I'm really trying to figure out where time has gone.  A few months ago, Taylor turned 11, and now Mandy is 10.  Two of my girls have hit the double digits!  Oh where does the time go???

When it came time for Ken to administer the birthday spankings, Mandy immediately went into whiny mode.  She did everything she could to avoid the spankings - which were not hard at all - but she still threw a tantrum afterwards.

Mandy decided to have a sleepover for her party.  She invited her two BFFs: Kiley (whom she's known since Kinder), and Madison.  Kynna also was invited as she is Kiley's sister, and we always have the two girls over for birthdays.

And they are crazy!

Mandy was so excited when she got home from school and her friends were here, and she's really bad about having presents and not being able to open them, so she went for the gifts first.

Flynn Rider doll from the Egans

Also from the Egans

And more from the Egans!

But the best was the Ladybug Pillow Pet that Mandy rreeeeaaalllllyyyyy wanted and it was given by Maddie!
The choice for supper was to go to the Golden Corral for the buffet, but Mandy saw her birthday cupcakes and didn't want to spend so much time driving, so we went to Johnnie D's instead.  The girls had a blast out and about town.  The three of them were so funny to watch.  I truly enjoyed listening to how they are the "flat chested club" on the way.  Seriously, where do they get this stuff??

We enjoyed supper together.  The girls were giggly and laughing.  Most of the older people who were there enjoyed their exuberance.  Mandy and Maddie loved that they could have their pancakes, and Kiley enjoyed Mac 'N Cheese.

After we were home, we got everything ready for the birthday cupcakes.  I really loved how the cupcakes turned out as was Mandy, and I loved that the cupcakes were so much easier to serve than cake.
This "Tangled" cupcakes came out really well

Disney has some great quotes - this is one of them

The girls sang "Happy Birthday" to Mandy who was able to blow out all 10 candles at one time.

After the cupcakes and ice-cream, the girls played on the computers, they played the Kinect, and they enjoyed Mandy's new craft box.  They enjoyed the evening and managed to stay up until 2 am.

The girls were checking out their faces with the purple icing - they had no idea that it stains and were smearing the frosting on their faces.  Hahahahaha

Mandy went through her usual temper tantrum when her friends left.  All of the girls were tired from staying up so late.  Mandy loves to have her people over and she hates when they leave.  Overall, she said that this birthday rocked.

On a side note - here's where you could find Ken during most of the festivities:
He was on hand in case of an emergency, but the screaming, singing and dancing was just too much for him.
