Lovely evening!

I have not forgotten about posting about Ken's and my Vegas trip.  I just haven't been able to get the time! Whew! 


In the meantime, I had to rush home, and get back to my new job.  It's part time, but it's seriously time-consuming.  I'm having to be careful to keep it part-time, but there's just so much for me to learn.  


So, tonight, Ken and I enjoyed a cigar and a drink while listening to the crickets in our backyard. After being in Vegas, our nights are cold!  It was still 79 degrees, but I thought about a jacket for a moment since it wasn't 100!


Ken bought a new bourbon to try, Blanton's.  We saw this one in New York, but we hadn't been able to find it locally.

After Ken's trip to Kentucky for the Bourbon Trail, I thought he just HAD to have it for his collection. It's got more of a bite than either of us care for, but the bottle does go really well in his special collection.  


We also tried a new cigar - yeah, despite our new shipment of our favorite - Onyx.  This was great!

Ken and I are definitely going to purchase some of these to have on hand for when we want something different, and we'll look to add them to our regular purchase in a couple months.


There's just nothing better than quietly talking about life while enjoying the stars and enjoying each other.  Ken had his Blanton's, and I had a Cadillac Margarita.  Life is grand!
