I have spent the last month going to the gym, eating more healthy and drinking more water - and yes water! Not just an additive to alcohol or Dr. Pepper but regular, plain water.
The weight has not dropped as fast as I would like, in fact, I'm 10 pounds heavier now that I have been exercising, but I know and was reaffirmed by my doctor that I have added muscle weight. My clothes are fitting better, and my doctor thinks that I will be able to handle the surgery.
Therefore, the surgery was scheduled for July 14th. It is everyone's hope that when my doctor gets inside, he'll find that he can leave my ovaries so we do not have to worry about hormone supplements given my youngish age.
All I know is that I will never have to go back to passing out from pain each month and all of the other nastiness that I was having to endure.
