Visit with Old Friend

Forever the dork that I am, I posted this on Facebook, but failed to post it here.

I had a great opportunity to go to RPV and visit with a friend whom I hadn't seen in too many years.  Deb and I grew up together, but we hadn't seen nor talked to each other in over 8 years. While she and I caught up on our lives, she got to enjoy the "fast forward" on Taylor and Mandy who were babies the last time she saw them, as well as meet Ken.  Jordan, of course, had to be the center of attention.

Deb and I knew each other since we were very young and stayed friends throughout High School and College.  She and I actually attend Cal State Fresno together, but she actually graduated from there while I took far more time to get things together.

The girls had a great time visiting.  They loved hearing how Deb used to change their diapers. Jordan, of course, wanted to know why SHE wasn't involved in this and could not understand that she wasn't born yet.

At the end, everyone splurged on ice-cream.  Taylor and Mandy went for the single ice-creams so they wouldn't have to share, and then they saw the Messy Sundae, and Jordan loved every bite!

Mandy did thoroughly enjoy hers, however!

Hopefully, it won't be another 8 years before Deb and I are able to get together again!!!
