Julie and I met at a school where we were both the "new hires." For the first day of work, the entire school went to Disneyland to have the "welcome back" speech and new info. (We completely miss that school and wish we still had that Director! It was amazing to work there!)
There have been very few women that I could call a "great friend" and Jules is one of them. Most times, I find that women are petty and backstabbing, but Jules has been there and we have been through some major changes. I always get a chuckle out of the fact that she's so much younger than me, but that never seems to be an issue. There are just as many times that she helps me through a crisis as I help her despite the years!
We enjoyed hanging out and some minor shopping. Of course, we completely enjoyed our Mexican food - which is both of our favorites!!
This picture was taken in honor of all of my Mid-West and East Coast friends who do not have access to Mexican food anymore. This is La Casita which is almost as good as El Som.
Thanks for the visit Jules! I appreciate that Jared let us hang out together, and Ken had a great time hanging with all of us. We love playing the board games, so always remember, "Boobs and Shit!" Hahahaha!
Hopefully, I will be able to find a way to get to Arizona before the heat sets in, but I'm excited that she and Jared are going to join us for the San Onofre trip in June. Awesome!!
