This was Jordan just 10 minutes after I picked her up from visiting her father. She had apparently been feverish for a couple of hours without getting Tylenol or Motrin. She was so lethargic!
Sunday morning, 2/28, I put her back into the bath tub with lukewarm water to try to draw the heat out of her. I alternated Tylenol and Motrin, but nothing was conquering this fever!
As much as I hated watching her little body wrestle with this fever, she still managed a few of her Jordanisms. She insisted that only Daddy could help her get rid of the ickies, so I was thrown to the side time after time. She only wanted Ken to hold her, and to carry her to the hospital. Finally, Jordan told me she wanted me around, and that I should "put down whatever (I) was doing and read to her all night."
Her temperature had gotten to 103.5, and Jordan was too hot to touch. While her tonsils were enlarged, there was no actual "reason" for her fever. The doctor gave her Amoxicillin in order to knock out whatever virus she had. Within 24 hours, she was completely back to her version of normal and terrorizing her sisters.
