Yep, that's right, I am completely average in my standardized test scores. I was not supposed to get my results until Friday, so seeing the email that my results were unexpected and scared me. It took a few minutes for me to open the email and actually look, but I was happy that I pulled out a score over 150. I was very afraid I wouldn't.
So, the application process began. I'm well behind the 8-ball on this one as applications started back in September and the cut-off for most schools is February 1st. But, as of this evening, I am officially a Harvard Law School applicant. That is the school I want most, so I started with it first.

I was fortunate in that Ken and I make far too little money for me to have to pay for everything, so my application to Harvard did not cost me anything.
For the next few days, i will be spending an amazing amount of time completing the Law School Applications. This is completely surreal to me - I always wanted this, but I never thought I was good enough to try for it. While my LSAT Score was personally offensive, I have to admit that I only studied for 3 months for it while others spent 2 - 4 years in Pre-Law classes.
Most important to me - Ken is so proud of me and has tirelessly looked over my essays and other data. He wants me to succeed and believes in me far more than I do in myself at times. Without him, there is NO way I would be attempting this. Now, I'm having to face my worst fear - rejection and denial. There's always a chance I will not be accepted to any of the school I apply to at which point, I will lick my wounds and start deciding what to do next, but Ken is completely optimistic that I will have to choose a school.
Relief and new anxiety all at the same time! Whew! It's a good thing I had those couple of days to relax.
