Third day of school

Each night, we have made sure to have supper together to discuss the girls' day at school.   Jordan was apparently very tired after her long, hard day of First Grade.  She fell asleep on the couch and did not wake up during the rest of the night.  Even better was when I realized that she fell off the couch and still did not wake up!

This eliminates all doubt as to who is in charge.  

Ken and I enjoyed a cigar and our wine out back.  We were completely bummed that the Thunder and Lightening went all around us, and we never got the rain.  We had the humidity, but never the rain.  We enjoyed the evening even without the rain, and then quietly got to bed.  


Tomorrow will be busier for us adults.  Let's hope Jordan is able to stay awake for supper!
